I am running Windows XP on an Ubuntu 9.04 host. I'm using version 2.1.4_OSE of Virtualbox.
After a time running full screen mode, the keyboard "dies". None of the keys function, though mouse does.
The result is that to continue working I have to close Windows and start it up gain. From there it is OK... for a time.
The problem is not "fatal", but it is sure annoying! So I send this out hoping that there is a soluton.
Thanks, Chejose

Re: locked keyboard
One of the first things to check is the screen saver/power saver in the guest. Make sure that it is turned off.
Since you said full screen and not seamless you should still be able to see the lower right corner of the guest window and there you should also see the keyboard capture icon. Pressing the right Ctrl key can bring it back in focus (green arrow pointing down). This was a problem in the older versions of VBox and should also have been fixed in newer versions. You could consider an upgrade but that of course is your decision.

Re: locked keyboard
Thanks Perryg... I am almost sure it is the screen saver. I cannot test it now, but as soon as I can will.
Again, thanks
