Hi,
I have a Windows XP SP3 guest running on VirtualBox 2.2 on Ubuntu 9.04 configured with bridged networking. My guest has full internet access, and can receive responses to requests it sends, however other machines on the network can't reach my VM (via ping or any other protocol). The dhcp server successfully resolves the correct ip address when pinging with the guest's hostname, but there is no response from the guest.
Has anyone else had similar issues? Do I need to anything more than just configure the VM to use bridged networking and point to an active interface on the host? (I have VirtualBox Guest Additions installed - also tried reinstalling this).
Any help will be greatly appreciated, also let me know if you need any more info!
Thanks
