Install MAC OS X 86 Snow Leopard on VB

Post by mmmbopzombie »

Hi everybody, I hope you are OK and also that this is the correct forum for my question. I did a search and didn't find anything related to this doubt.

I'd like to know if there is a guide step by step on how to install Snow Leopard using VB in Windows Vista

HOST O.S.: Windows Vista Ultimate x64 SP1
VB version: 2.2.2 r46594
GUESS O.S.: MAX OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 10a354

Intel Quad Q6000 2.4GHz
4 GB RAM DDR2 800 Mhz
ATI EAH3850 512 MB
2 TB HD SATA II

Well I hope someone can help me with this as this is the first time I try to install a Leopard OSX on my VB :)
Thanks

Short answer probably impossible. OS X expects a mac and that isn't what virtualbox is.

My way: "You live as long as you learn".

It might be possible, as people have managed to install it on their PC directly. However, this is not what VB supports. As per VirtualBox FAQ, it's a violation of the EULA from Apple. Therefor, it's illegal and we don't, and won't help you with this.

I'm locking this one. Asking for illegal actions are not allowed.
