Is there any way to hide the bug in the systray on a guest? I have users remoting in, and the only way they can tell they are being virtualized is by seeing the "Sun Guest Additions."

You can stop it from starting with Windows, but you will probably loose all, or most of the, GA advantages like Shared Clipboard and Dynamic Resolutions.

No need to hide the trayicon, you can stop it from loading by removing the registry entry that loads it, for RDP this part isn't needed. There are also tools that change the PE headers of tray apps to prevent it from showing.
