Sluggish mouse

I am running a guest Windows XP inside a host Windows XP.
I have installed the guest additions and have mouse integration turned on.
Nevertheless, the mouse is sluggish. When I move the mouse inside the guest window, it take some time for the second mouse pointer to catch up to the first mouse pointer.
Other than that, overall the system seems to be working with good enough performance and I do like VirtualBox, but this is something I would really like to solve.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Noam

Use standard memory configuration 512, 768, 1024 for windows. It will be much happier and cause fewer crashes.
Try giving the guest a little more video memory. 8, 16, 32, 64 again standard memory allocations.

Memory was already 1024.
Increased video memory to 32GB and no change.
