Fatal error

Post by kd0afk »

I am running Ubuntu 9.04 JJ
version of VBOX is the newest; 2.2.2
I installed it with no errors but when I went to creat a machine and run it, I get this error. http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/4989 ... ot2kse.png This is kind of frustrating.

Not enough information to be able to help.
Forum Posting Guideline
  • Please provide host and guest memory.
  • What are the VBox settings (all of them) for the guest?
  • What (if any) error messages are you getting?

Well, I already said what the error is. Is there a tidy way to find all of the other info without taking a day and a half to do so?

Perhaps a screen shot of the settings screen?

The memory of the host and guest should be easy enough to just type.

You can upload attachments here. Look at the lower left side of your screen beside options. Just make sure that they are not too large. Save in JPG.

Let me ask this first; Can I install an OS in VB from an ISO file located on my desktop?

Yes but you have an ISO that is not bootable, as the error message states.
