cannot hit F8 key during XP setup

Hi,
I am trying to install XP SP8 on a MAC OS X host. I cannot even finish my setup because I cannot hit the F8 during the setup.
Other keys work so the keyboard is enabaled to VBox but the F-key does'nt work.
Any clue?
