this may be a silly question,
i understand that aero doesnt work in virtualbox
but how come the windows7 setup uses the aero feature?
i couldnt understand how this was possible before the install but couldnt be done after the install? i'm not fussing about virtualbox but more pondering if windows is blocking the feature , couldnt it have atleast let the aero part of windows manager remain?
or am i not understanding something basic?

It's not actually Aero running, it's just a static bitmap that pretends that Aero is running.

oh... cheeky fellows at M$! was surprised that aero was working at setup but, didnt work after install!
