I'm new to this, and can't seem to get my guest to remote connect. If someone could explain how to do this properly, or can link me to a prosper guide I'd appreciate it.

I'm using Windows XP as my host and my guest, and I have The nat settings for my networking. Once again please and thanks for the help.

You can't do it using NAT you need Bridged instead.
