VirtualBox crashes when I start Windows Xp

Post by ElSigno7 »

Hi everyone, i'm using Ubuntu 9.04, I have installed Virtualbox 2.2.2 for having Windows Xp emulated but everytime I try to start Windows Xp it crashes. Just as soon as Windows Xp is loaded, virtualbox window closes. But if i try to load Windows Xp in "Safe mode" o "Safe mode with networking" it works fine. What do I have to do to work with Windows Xp loaded in normal mode? Any clue?
Thank You.

Where do I read crash error code? I thought that network card could be the cause, so I've disabled that, but still it's not woring. I also create another vdi where I have installed Windows Xp Sp3, and with this Windows doesn't even load after the first installation.

Run: [VBoxManage showvminfo "VMNAME"], and post results here.
