Fedora 10 mount (usb,register,update,seamless)

Hello,

I have vitrualbox running on fedora 10. It runs win xp fine.. it will not let register or update virtualbox says connection times out, internet dose work even in the guest box.. also can not mount usb drive...

what is funny is my friend runs ubuntu and he downloaded and installed from the vb site and his works fine even seamless, I have to click in mine and then use hot key to click out...

how do I fix mine and why are they different?

You need to install the PUEL version of VBox and then the GA on the XP Guest, see the Manual.

I downloaded "VirtualBox-2.2.2_46594_fedora9-1.i386.rpm" from here, I just learned about virtualbox 2 days ago and have been reading everything I find.
I never heard of PUEL and my search takes me back to the download I have.. Things like explaining what PUEL and GA are then offering links would be nice.

If I called you an ignorant nitwit that would have been rude, you say you read everything but you don't know what PUEL or GA means? Every mod here has Manual and FAQ clickable references with over 10.000 posts here and you can't be bothered to read the manual or the FAQ where this is covered until you're blue in the face. If I refer you to the manual and you consider that to be rude you need a trip to some psych.

I guess I only got 5000, must have been the wrong half.. I got my answer on an ubuntu site where they treat each other with respect
