because it was designed to works well with machine with AMD-V or INTEL-VT technologies. In Computer without AMD-V or Intel-VT that version works very bad. I tried to install ubuntu 8.10 in that version and the performance is very bad. nevertheless, on my phenom X3 with AMD-V/RVI that version (2.2.2) works perfectly.

Im very confuced about vbox. For example, i know that vmware use binary translation in computer without amd-v or intel-vt and works nice but Virtual box, how does it work?? what technology use in computer without virtualization technologies.

As you said in other post im using 2.0.8 on my laptop and works very well but the performance is not the best.
