Hi Guys

I am new to VM. I have managed to install ubuntu on my vista. I have 2 problem. When Installing ubuntu in VirtualBox, it did not detect the Vista OS.
Ubuntu is the VM
Anyway, here are problem.
I have a Drobo external drive formatted in XFS.
How can I get Ubuntu to see Drobo which is currently connected via USB?
and secondly how can I get Ubuntu see my NTFS partiion?

Any help will be much appreciated

With the first line this is the way it would work.

• Next to your problem. To be able to use your USB hard drive you will need to setup a blank filter in the USB section of the settings for the guest. Then you will need to start the guest WITHOUT the drive being plugged in. Once started then you can plug the USB device in and it will load the drivers. You will need to read the section USB Questions for futher details. As for the NTFS that is covered in the Forum Howto.
