I installed guest additions then only had 2 screen resolutions available. After uninstalling i can change my graphics properties ok but.
On startup of guest OS which is XP it reports graphics adapter not installed and base system device. I cannot find any way to reinstall these. How is it done?

Re: Guest additions uninstall probs
The video card is done through the GA. The base system device, might be a GA thing too. But I've seen XP Guests with an unknown device in it's device manager before, even after installing the GA, so if everything still works, I wouldn't worry 'bout it.

Re: Guest additions uninstall probs
Did you try to disable the device? Of course, don't disable the VGA adapter
