Converting VHD to VDI on Windows

Hello All,
I have a series of hard disk images that are in the "VHD" format. I started them originally using Virtual PC but have now moved to using VirtualBox. I am having a problem mounting these hard disk images in the Virtual Media Manager within VirtualBox. It appears as though I can only add one image at a time. From what I have read (Post Here) it is because VirtualBox has a problem detecting the proper UUID for VHD disks even though I have used VBoxManage to give each VHD image a unique UUID. I tried to use the VBoxManage -clonehd command however it fails each time I try.
So it appears my only option is to convert the VHD images to VDI format. I have seen some posts that describe how to do this on a Mac or Linux box but I have been unable to find any instructions on how to do it on a Windows box. Any ideas?
