Switch back and forth between two OS's but access same VB?

Hello All,

On my PC I have 3 partitions. The first has Windows Vista Ultimate w/ SP1 installed, the second has Windows 7 RC1 installed, and the third is for data storage. I was wondering if it would be possible to create a virtual XP environment and access that environment from whichever OS I happened to be logged in at the time? The files for that virtual XP environment would be placed on the third partition (the data partition). If this can be done can someone provide a quick explanation as to how to do it? Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply. In the other OS (Windows Vista) I ended up creating a new virtual machine, but I chose to use an existing hard drive (the file from the virtual machine I created in Windows 7). That file is saved to my 3rd partition.

That's the way you need to share them. Make sure that the settings are the same in both OS's. This also means the MAC address of the NIC(s).
