Installation Problem on Windows 2000

Hi
I am trying to install Virtual box on Windows 2000
I downloaded VirtualBox-2.2.2-46594-Win.exe and when I run it, it just says "Preparing to install.." and then nothing happens...
What can I do to go further?
I also had vmware installed previously. Is that creating a conflict?

Read the Manual. You need at least Windows XP as Host.

Installing vbox on w2k is not supported, I think 2.0.x was the last version that supported w2k as a Host.

1.6.6 is the last one that can be installed on Windows 2000, with a little hacking. Officially 1.5.6 is the latest one. Check the release notes of each major version, it's there.
