Disable certain key combination to be sent to guest OS

Hi.
I have search the entire forum and read the documentation but not found an answer to my question.
My question is, Can i disable certain key combinations to be sent to the guest OS, for example, i have Compiz activated on my Linux box, in Compiz configuration i have set the following key combination to rotate the cube Ctrl+Alt+Left Mouse Button, i want disable the guest OS to capture this and make the host OS to act on it even when the guest OS is in focus.
This isn't limited to Linux, as someone might want to be able to do this with Windows as an host OS.
So is this possible?
