Windows 64 bit guest install problems

I'm having problems installing Windows 7 RC 64bit or Windows Vista SP1 64bit on VirtualBox 2.2.2, i create the virtual machine, make the virtual hard disk, set the ram capture the ISO start the virtual machine, it goes through the loading files screen, then changes the to screen that says Microsoft Windows and would otherwise show the Windows Logo but it freezes at that point. i can install the 32 bit versions of either OS but not the 64bit.

My system does have AMD-V, the Specs are:

HP DV9700z CTO notebook
AMD Turion 64 x2 TL68 2.4ghz
nVidia nForce 570i mobile chipset
GeForce 8400m 256mb video ram
4GB Crucial DDR2 667
2x WD Scorpio Black 320gb 7200 RPM SATA disks
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit SP2

Check the 64 Bit Test Program from the VMWARE Homepage.

Sometimes settings in the bios is disabled, sometimes a bios update helps.

Found and fixed the problem. A fix will be included in 3.0.4.

Is there currently a work around for this issue?

for me it worked enabling the nested paging option. (I was running Vista64 and installed 7RC 64bits)
