Discussion gets deleted and i get insulted by Sasquatch

Post by weworika »

You lack respect to the rules and people who are helping you here. We expect users to do a little self education before coming here. If you are a new user, no matter what system you are using, you don't call a helpdesk when something doesn't work as you think it should. Your problem had nothing to do with VB itself, it was pure user error. Would you have gone to the forum of Mozilla if you couldn't open a website, if your internet didn't work? Would you call your ISP helpdesk, when you forgot to plugin in the computer/modem after moving it? That's the lack of respect for people you've shown here. We all do our best, and you through dirt in our face only because we expect something from your end.
I used your software and posted a howtro 2 years ago at teh ubuntu forums.
But now when i just report a problem, my post gets deleted and you insult your user.

Well, as i read on at the ubuntu forums your Virtal sofware is just ranked 3rd, i wonder if this comes from the big ego of its mods.

I can not remeber to met a more lame action than deleting a onsightful discussion and get fronted for this.

Go ahead i gues syour next step is banning me, for posting my expereince here.
If you do so, i will write about it on the ubuntu forums as well.

My 2 Cents.

vb = ignorance = epic fail

I am not sure what happened and Sasquatch commented on your OP that he can't remember purging you topic. We do reserve the right to delete posts which breach our guidelines.

One thing that you must remember that VBox isn't our product. It's Sun's. The people that post here are members of the community who invest their time to support those who are seeking help. Looking at the topic, your core issues do seem to be with Ubuntu knowledge rather than Vbox support. His remarks may be pointed but not insulting.

Dude! Your other posts are still here. You just posted them in a different post. They were not deleted. My guess is you forgot and started another post. Might explain why there is some confusion here.

Perhaps, but accusing me of something I didn't do isn't nice either. I only pointed out a few things, and if you find them insulting, that's kinda your problem. I never intended to be insulting. We all read things our own way and not always how the writer intended them. I'm well aware of that fact, but some aren't or to a certain extent.

And reading back what I posted to your question, all I did was give you some advise and explained a few things, nothing insulting.
