Using bluetooth over Windows XP(guest) thru Ubuntu(host)

Hello,

I run an Ubuntu 8.10 host O/S and a Windows XP guest O/S through VirtualBox.

I want to backup my contacts from my phone for which I intend to use a tool that I have, namely MobileMaster.

I have a bluetooth USB adapter. I plugged it in but Windows doesn't seem to recognize it at all. I checked VBox and found that USB services were enabled but it said "no device is attached".

I would like to know how to get Windows recognize my bluetooth USB adapter so that I can synchronize my phone with Mobile Master and transfer contacts from phone to PC.

Cheers,

Use the PUEL edition, not the OSE

Did you check the VirtualBox FAQ for USB fixes?
