Shortcut not entering VB

Hi. I'm running VB on Linux and I have multiple workspaces. It would be really cool if I could tell VB not to map the key combination for switching desktops. That is not send it to the virtual machine. Is there any way to do this?

Hit the right Ctrl button before switching.

This is acceptable. Thanks. Although if there were a way to permanently map a certain key combination, that would be better.

In the VBox program GUI, click on file, then preference and then input. Change it there.

Well I read what you wrote and gave you a way to change it other than that you are on your own!

I know how to do that. What I would really like would be to be able to specify a combination that just isn't mapped to the VM but to my OS.
