Hi, I downloaded the latest Virtual Box available and installed WinXP on it. So the host and the guest are XPs.

The problem is that after installing the Guest Additions the screen resolution for the guest can not be changed to more than 800x600 and this is quite anoying.

What I am doing wrong? I tried to find some similar topic but no luck here...

You need to install the guest additions.

Make sure that the auto re-size button has been clicked (Machine tab top left of VBox Window) and then click and drag the guest window to re-size.
