Remote Desktop Error with Vista host and Server 2003 guest

Hello,
I want to acces a Windows Server 2003 Virtual Machine (network is configured as NAT) via "Windows Remote Desktop Web Connection" with my vista host machine. On a friends XP-install he can just press connect with exactly the same Windows Server 2003 VM and it works :o (so I assume the OS is already properly configured, it is also possible to log in with the remote desktop in Server 2003 itself :? ). But when I log in via my vista install to the virtual machine I get: "The client could not connect. You cannot connect to the console from a console session of the same computer" :x .
I tried a lot of things with VRDP (on 3389) and VBoxManage but I can't find a solution. Does anyone know how you can fix this???????????????? I really need it for an assignment for school... :x

What I tried with VBoxManage.exe:
Key: VBoxInternal/Devices/pcnet/0/LUN#0/Config/apache/HostPort, Value: 8080
Key: VBoxInternal/Devices/pcnet/0/LUN#0/Config/apache/GuestPort, Value: 80
Key: VBoxInternal/Devices/pcnet/0/LUN#0/Config/apache/Protocol, Value: TCP
Key: VBoxInternal/Devices/pcnet/0/LUN#0/Config/FTP/HostPort, Value: 2121
Key: VBoxInternal/Devices/pcnet/0/LUN#0/Config/FTP/GuestPort, Value: 21
Key: VBoxInternal/Devices/pcnet/0/LUN#0/Config/FTP/Protocol, Value: TCP

Key: VBoxInternal/Devices/pcnet/0/LUN#0/Config/Remote/HostPort, Value: 3389
Key: VBoxInternal/Devices/pcnet/0/LUN#0/Config/Remote/GuestPort, Value: 3389
Key: VBoxInternal/Devices/pcnet/0/LUN#0/Config/Remote/Protocol, Value: TCP

The situation when i press connect in tsweb vista and in Server 2003 itself:

Switch to bridged and make your life easier. NAT has some limitations as you have found out. While it is possible to setup communications (RDP) probably will not be reliable.

The easiest way is to set the guest to use DHCP and to automatically get the address. After it is working properly you can change it to static addresses as long as it is in the same address scheme of your host and router. You may need to reset the port forwarding that you previously entered. this is achieved by entering the information again and leaving off the value.

Argghh this is driving me nuts. I did this http://www.bauer-power.net/2009/03/how- ... g-for.html and set the guest to DHCP but no results (the bridged connection in the host is also configured with DHCP)... The guest has no internet connection at all and comes with a warning at connection status: "You might not be able to acces the internet or some network resources. This problem occurred because the network did not assign a network address to the computer."
Do you perhaps have a correct example scheme of the ip adressing??

Manually set IP address info for the Guest.

First thing to do here is a complete power down of the system and then bring everything back up. Then try to connect using the IP address of the system you are trying to connect to not "localhost". These are (as far as the system is concerned) two separate machines and localhost will only connect to itself.
