I want to install get some image backups from Windows 2K and XP running on VirtualBox via repair install method, and also by disabling some device drivers and services before starting the image. Are there some VBox related drivers that may be needed?

I tried on XP recovery and it failed to start, even in safe mode.

Nothing from vbox needed, there are quite a few p2v topics going on here and in the FAQ, there is no clear cut way on doing it, sometimes its better to spend 3 days reinstalling everything into a fresh VM then weeks to get one migrated.
