backup exec console with virtualbox

G'day,
I have just upgraded to virtualbox version 2.2.2 on windows xp professional host.
After installation the Backup Exec 9.1 (for netware) administration console no longer works.
Uninstalling virtualbox and BE and reinstalling BE did not fix the problem.
A system restore got BE admin console working properly again.
Just to make sure it was VB causing the problem, I reninstalled 2.2.2 and BE stopped working again.
