Error upon Windows XP installation
I have VirtualBox 2.2.2 all set up on Ubuntu 9.04 and a .iso of my XP install disk. When I mount the .iso file to the VM it boots to the .iso and loads all the drivers etc as expected and then reports a blue session3_initialization_failure screen. I've researched the failure and it appears to be a driver issue, which I find puzzling because I would assume that VirtualBox would set up everything such that this would not be a problem. Any suggestions?

Re: Error upon Windows XP installation
More information if you please.
What are the settings that you gave the guest?
How much RAM is on the host and hoe much are you giving the guest?
Also is this a real install ISO or a copy from an OEM version?

Re: Error upon Windows XP installation
You know, I believe it may be an OEM version, which I hadn't even thought about before. All the settings on VirtualBox are default and there are 4GB host RAM, so I don't believe that should be an issue. Thanks for the quick response.
