i have been trying to install opensolaris on virtualbox for a while now , and i get the same error every time , it gets part of thet way through the loading and woulnt let it go any farther cause of not enough memory , is there any way to get it to load w/o the error stopping it

current memory set up is 1mb of ram below the "ur using over 75% of ur computers memory" warning along with that being the only program running ( manualy closed the ones running in the back ground that i could )

1 meg = 1024 meg
How much memory do you have on the host?

You will not be able to install OpenSolaris unless you can give it 1024 meg of (real) RAM not virtual memory. After install you can drop it some but not a lot.
You will need to buy more memory for your computer.

I just upgraded from 2GB to 3GB for under 30 Euros. But if your machine really has 256 MEGA(!)Bytes of Ram, you perhaps should consider saving for a new machine, since yours seems really old and perhaps is not able to get an upgrade which you need to run VMs.
