Zenith Infotech has a integration into Virtualbox that directly mounts the Storagecraft .spi files without converting them. By cutting out the conversion process mounting an image goes from hours to something like 15 minutes.

My question is does any know if this can be accomplished using .tib files for Acronis or of a product that will do this?

No, you can't mount them like that. You have to restore the file on a VDI file from the VM itself.
