VirtualBox Resets Wallpaper/Theme

Post by guitarpat10 »

When attempting to install Vista as my guest OS, the installation goes well until the very end. Yet, near the end of the installation process (not sure where), my screen went black and talked about configuring a sound driver, then I was taken to my Ubuntu login screen. So, I typed in my username/password and was greeted with the default theme and wallpaper for Ubuntu -- something changed my customized wallpaper/theme. I have no idea how this happened, but I did nothing out of the ordinary to cause this. I thought I should just report this. I don't know if other people have experienced this or not, but I found it rather inconvenient for this to happen out of nowhere.

EDIT: It seems something was messing with my theme files. I'm not sure what, but I hopefully have the problem solved now.
