Rediculous

Post by sixpack »

Well I have been using this great software for many months until the latest update. Once the device driver in my netowrk was installed I had issues with my internet connection on my host (regular) system and it frustrated me to no end. The guest systems allways had network connection but showed in the system tray (on the guest)that it was not connected. I disabled the "extra" network connection with the Limited status bs and my internet seemed to work properly but noooo... Anyways after my aggravation went on to no end I said to **** with it and uninstalled Virtualbox, but, wouldnt you figure it didnt remove my "extra" network connection so.. *** to do.. this is so frustrating I will never use this product again.. what happened?.. that last version worked so well.. **** it all to ****. Any help to get rid of this "limited" connection would be great. To bad this great product had to go to the ****** in such a way.

p.s. If you suggest to reinstall using the repair function I will hunt you down and kick you in the ****.

Use the repair option
But seriously, using for example 2.1.4 or 2.2.0 to install/remove and then reinstall with or without the repair option useally fixes such problems, if you supply info like which vbox version you had or which one got stuck on you we can attempt to figure out how to get it working again, depending what went wrong in the first place.
