i cant copy my files off a disk to my vb harddrive

It's giving me the error parameter is incorrect in xp. Its a companion instructional disk to a book. There is enough space on the hard drive for them. It just keeps coming back with this same message. I'm using jaunty 9.04

Assuming this is a CD, You should be able to open the CD in XP and just read it.
It may be copy protected to keep you from being able to copy it to the hard drive.
