Hello,
After updrading to ubuntu jaunty, my Virtual Box (2.2) window looks really strange. All kind of text is somewhat smeared (See attachment for screenshot). I'd guess its some library problem, but I did not experience any such changes with other programs. Hopefully someone is able to help me.

Re: Strange looking Virtual Box window
Have you tried the normal things like doing a cold boot of the system? You might need to either reinstall VBox 2.2.0 or better yet upgrade to 2.2.2

Re: Strange looking Virtual Box window
While I've seen some screen corruption in Jaunty, I've never seen something like this before...
Do you happen to have an ATI/Intel graphic card? Some people are reporting some problems with them.
The solution that (usually) things issues like this is adding the following line on /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Option "AccelMethod" "XAA"
Hope this helps.

Re: Strange looking Virtual Box window
I did the dist upgrade yesterday and the installed VBox Version is 2.2.2.
It seems to be some QT-Problem, because after a close look to my apps, I realized that other QT Apps look the same. I guess I will wander to the Ubuntu forums. But thanks for the replies.
