Hi, I live in a remote location and am using dialup. I use a download manager that allows me to resume downloads and this is how I am able to download larger files. I have tried to download virtual box several times and if I pause the download and attempt to resume it, it always fails. This is very strange to me as I have used this method extensively and have never had any trouble before. What is causing this and is there anything I can do to succeed in downloading virtual box with my dialup connection? Thanks a lot for any insights or advice you have!

There's not much you can do about this, if the remote site does not support resume download it won't work, you can post a suggestion to add this feature. If you are after a specific version I could host it for you on iis5 which supports resume.

Other than what vbox4me2 says you could ask a friend or family member that has a faster Internet connection to download it and burn it to CD.

I just wanted to thank you for your informative and friendly replies. I didn't know that it was a server issue and mistakenly thought that resume capabilities were solely a function of my download manager software. I'll have someone download it for me, I just wanted to try my best to get it for myself first.
