When I click in the GUI to change hardwaresettings it takes a few seconds to open that dialog.
This is since version 2.2.0 and still in 2.2.2
Is there any setting to make the dialog appear instantly as in the versions before?

It depends on the Host OS and what is being asked of it. I see that it takes a second or two on my Vista but I have a lot going on in that unit. Ubuntu host on laptop is really fast but then again I do not have anywhere near the things running in it.Soulatial wrote:So is this a bug in the new version?

VBox just seems to wait. There's no major CPU usage increase, no harddisk access when opening the settings. It just wastes time.
