Cannot install Win 2008 Server as guest

Just installed VirtualBox 2.2.2, and, encountered the following problems:

1. Cannot install the 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008, so I tried the 32-bit version :)
2. Whilst trying to install the 32-bit version, an error message is being displayed persistently:
The computer restarted unexpectedly. Windows installation cannot proceed. to install Windows click OK to restart the computer, and then restart the installation.

I'm aware that Win 2008 Server installation automatically reboots during the installation process.

Has anyone encountered this problem? I believe that 2008 is unsupported anyway is it?

This is just a shot in the dark here, but running a Hypervisor inside of another hypervisor Usually is not suggested. Strange things can and do happen.

Just making sure, you didn't have anything else installed before doing this right?. I installed server 2008 a whole lot this spring season and the only time it would repeatedly do this was when I changed the drive settings. Other thought , get rid of the Vbox and drive and make a new one.

2nd thought as with the 64bit Server 2008. Do you have a 64 bit system to run the guest off of?
