I have installed Windows XP as guest OS. I want to isolate this OS from Internet and if it possible from any network, including the host, for security reasons. I only want to access to a specific port, the 3050 for Firebirs database server located in the host.
If I activate the network in VirtualBox, then the guest has access to Internet and the LAN, but I want to avoid it. I only need to access to the 3050 port.
Is it possible? Do I need to use a firewall or can I avoid it?
Thank you
How to access to a host service with security ?

You can use host only network and install a free firewall in the guest to limit outbound traffic to the port.
