VB and XP Best Practices

Post by WhyZeeGuy »

I am running Ubuntu 8.04 and VirtualBox 2.2.2 with Windows XP virtualized, everything is running well and I just love the virtualization concept. :D

My question is should I be running Anti Virus, Spy Blockers and other systems utilities for security? The only website I use on the XP box is IE7 to access company's CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) system, other than that I use Ubuntu host system for accessing any other websites?

Please advise as to best practices when using XP virtualized?

Cheers

Nothing beats common sense, ea. your brain, the rest just slows thing down. Making the VDI immutable also works.
