Is it possible to change the network model on pc power on?

VirtualBox seems unable to change the attached network mode while PC is power on, I think it is quite not reasonable under production environment, for testing lab, I believe, we sometimes have to change the network mode, say from NAT to Bridge or from NAT to Host-only, may I know if there's anyway can change the network mode without power off machines? or any new release edition will allow to do this?

You could attach the 4 available VM NIC's to each VBox way and select(en/disable) one within the Guest.
