It would be best to follow Perryg's instructions. All DOS-based versions of Windows (up to Windows Me) as well as Windows NT 3.x are not officially supported by VirtualBox.

Just use the right Alt key and the F button to make the guest operating system go fullscreen.

Not what I meant. I meant so it takes up the full screen.

HOST -L goes seamless HOST -F goes full screen.
This only works if you have installed the guest additions.

I kinda can't install the guest additions, as it's not a supported system.

Then my friend you will not go full screen.
It may be possible for you to change the resolution in Win98 to get it bigger but that is the best that you will have.

From the first few pages of the Users guide.

1.5. Supported guest operating systems
<snip>
DOS / Windows 3.x / 95 / 98 / ME
Limited testing has been performed. Use beyond legacy installation mechanisms not recommended. No Guest Additions available

That means, in short, running any DOS-based versions of Windows under VirtualBox is not recommended due to the design limitations as they run slowly. =p

I always prefer running these OSes either on VMware Player or Virtual PC since there is support for guest additions.
