I tried to install VirtualBox-2.2.2-46594-Win.exe in Win XP SP3 but appears the message "The software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP". I continued the installation (appeared two messages with that message) and when I open the VirtualBox appear other critical error message:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------BEGIN OF MESSAGE
VirtualBox - Error critico.
Fallo al crear el objeto COM de VirtualBox.
La aplicacion se cerrara.
Could not create the default settings file 'C:\Documents and Settings\pptkt\.VirtualBox\VirtualBox.xml'

I tried to install VirtualBox-2.1.4-42893-Win_x86.msi but appears too the Windows logo testing message.

What can I do?

Install with admin rights and ignore logo testing, just select accept.

Thanks vbox4me2 for your response.
Like I said, I installed ignoring the message but when I open VB appears other critical error message.
Too I installed using Administrator account.

What should I do to get successful installation?

You did not install with admin rights, the message:
Could not create the default settings file 'C:\Documents and Settings\pptkt\.VirtualBox\VirtualBox.xml'
(VERR_ACCESS_DENIED)
Tells you that, or you have some other kind of rights problem.

Thanks vbox4me2 for your response.
I saw the Documents and Settings folder and it had read-only permission.
I removed the mark and assigned full control permission (even my account is administrator type).
Then I already can open VB. Thanks for your point.
