I've been playing with virtualbox ( latest version ) for the past week or so and it looks very impressive.The Forums have really been helpful with some setup problems.
I have WinXP as my hostOS. I have Win2K and Vista as guests. They are working great, networking and all.
However, for the life of me, I can't get the shared folders to work. I think I've done everything correctly on both host and guests, except the folder
is not there on the guests.
Yes, I have RTFM and gone thru numerous board posts, but it just doesn't work. Any help would be most appreciated.

Explain what you have done on the Host and on the Guest so far.

Did everything I could think of , but no success.
Then I got a copy Win7 and tried it. Still no luck. However, in the taskbar - bottom right - it was showing that the shared folder was being recognized in the guest, but did not show up.
Finally tried the command line net use and there was magic. Shared folder works perfectly.
