Dual Monitor Help?

Hey All,
Been reading through the boards and the user manual... I have a Windows XP host with a Windows XP guest, and I would like to use dual monitors. Basically I want to be able to drag applications that are running on my guest OS to either monitor... everything I have read points to running the vm in headless mode and connecting via remote desktop. In a linux host, you can specify which screen to connect to through rdesktop, so you just open up two rdesktop connections, one to each screen. Is there a way to do that in XP? With the default RDP client?
Or am I going about this all wrong? I guess ideally I would like to run my VM in seamless mode with dual monitor support, but I believe that isn't possible atm. Am I all wet? Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.
