iPhone synching is not working for me in VirtualBox 2.2.2, linux host, WinXP SP3 guest. In 2.2.0, the problem was hidden by Bug #3858, fixed in 2.2.2. In 2.2.2, connections to the iPhone seem slow, and usually result in iTunes reporting that something was wrong with the communication, and the phone rebooting. I will post more details when I am back on the system upon which I experienced these symptoms. I am posting now to see if anyone has either also encountered this, or has any other feedback on the problem.

If you still have issues with this when you get back, please try a clean install of your Guest. You don't need to activate Windows yet, as it's just a test. You still have 30 days afterall.
