USB Device problem - VirtualBox 2.2.2

Hi,
I am using VirtualBox 2.2.2 (not the open source version). My Host OS is Windows XP and the Guest OS is Windows 2003.
I am having a strange problem. I've added one empty USB Filter.
When I connect SanDisk Cruzer usb drive to my computer, VBox detects it and it is shown in the devices. And I go to My Computer in the VM, I can access the contents of the drive.
However, when I connect Western Digital USB drives (either portable or non-portable external hard disk), they get detected and are shown in the Devices list, But when I go to My Computer, I can't see them there. When I check them off from the Devices list, they are available to the Host and when I check them again, they are again detected in the VM but still can't see them under My Computer and hence can't access those.
Any suggestion?
