Hi,
I ran CS3 master collection (Plus many other programs) on my PC when Windows XP was the o/s with only 512 MB ram. I,m now running 1GB ram with Ubuntu as the host and XP in VB. When I try to load CS3 into the windows environment within the VB I get a error saying "Can,t load as program requires at least 1 Gig Ram". This cant be right? Is there something that I maybe doing wrong?
Thanks
Cant load program on VB

Assuming that you are using Vbox version 2.2.0 ( You don't state), an upgrade to the new maintenance release Version 2.2.2 should help.

From memory I,m running 2.2.0. On another noter I have an oppurtunity to obtain Vista 64 bit cheaply and considering loading this in VB as opposed to XP. Do you think it will make a difference running CS3 on Vista 64 bit over XP?

Yup. Vista will require 3 times more horsepower to run.
