No more connectivity within VirtualBox OS

Post by bluem »

About a month ago I downloaded and install VirutalBox from this site...currently I have a laptop running win xp pro with SP2 and the VirtualBox OS is also running win xp pro sp2. I completed the setup and was able to access interenect...etc...this worked for about 3 weeks. However, now for some reason I am not longer able to access the internet from within the Virtualbox OS. Not sure what happaned but I did not make any changes. Within the VirtualBox It shows that I am connected and I Don't see the limited or no connectivity message.

Thanks for the help in advance.

We're going to need more information to be able to help.

Version of VBox.
Type of network interface chosen and adapter chosen in VBox for the guest.

ipconfig from host and from guest. (put these in a code block please)

Might want to read this so you know what to send next time.

Also update to the latest version (2.2.2) and see how that goes.
