Guest keyboard remaps halfway through use

Hi gang,

I've just upgraded my (host) Ubuntu install to Jaunty, and I'm noticing a new problem with my XP Virtualbox. Specifically, the keyboard bindings remap halfway through sessions. "q" becomes "a", "a" becomes "q", the right side of the keyboard gets replaced with all sorts of accented, olagged keys. This does not effect the host machine, and a reset of the guest gets rid of it...but it comes back, typically after about 10 minutes of use (but not consistently).

Any suggestions on this? Got me quite stumped.

Cheers,

It sounds like your layout switches from qwerty to azerty. Check the control panel > regional settings and check if there is any additional keyboard layout there. Remove any unwanted layouts. It can happen that a shortcut is set to change the layout on the fly.

Many thanks, sasquatch - after 30 minutes, taking regional settings off of Irish *seems* to have corrected the problem. :-)
