I am trying to install Ubuntu 9.04 netbook remix on Windows XP host. This needs to be booted from USB. VirtualBox only appears to allow booting from floppy, CD, hard drive or netwoork. Is there a way to boot from USB or is this just not possible with current version of VirtualBox?
Alternatively, does anyone know how to convert a bootable USB to a bootable CD/DVD?

Re: Booting VM from USB
It is not possible to boot from USB in VBox. Drivers are not loaded until the guest starts. As for the USB to CD/DVD you should be able to use ghost or some other clone software to transfer the image to CD/DVD. A little Google searching should show you how.

Thanks for your advice. I will attempt to clone the image.
