Hi all-
I just installed and configured VirtualBox for the first time and Im having an issue with getting the Networking configured. I want to have the guest OS on the same network as all other PC's and grab an IP address from my router rather than using NAT connection type where it puts it on a 10.x subnet.
Ive read through the manuals and have done some searching and it looks like I need to configure networking using the Host Only network type and perhaps Bridging somehow, but I cant get it working in that mode at all.
Im running VB on a Win2003 host with a Vista Ultimate x86 guest.
Apologies if Im missing something obvious here and feel free to shoot me a link if this has already been covered someplace.
Thanks a bunch!!

Re: Networking question
If you have installed versioin 2.2.0, you need to install it again, and pick the "Repair" option. There is an issue with the installer that fails to install the Bridged driver correctly upon first install. After that, reboot the Host and then from the VM settings, choose Bridged. Click on the tool icon next to the dropdown box for more option and select the NIC with which you're connected to your LAN.
